MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze the market trend, competitors and customers to propose appropriate business strategies
  • Analyze the market trend, competitors and customers to define company product unique selling point, positioning and target customers etc and appropriate business strategies.
  • Analyze market growth by price range, car segment and geography to understand general trends and growth rate
  • Identify target customers, customer profile and customer needs such as lifestyle, purchasing behavior, customer journey, price elasticity and propose appropriate strategies, including promotion, incentive program, campaign, event, etc.
  • Review the overall strategy, with a focus on customer approach and customer profiling. Propose recommendations on activities to effectively reach potential customers and increase sales on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • In-depth analysis of competitors' products, best-selling and non-best-selling car models, prices, sales channels, marketing strategies, Dealer network, etc. Understand competitors' strengths and weaknesses and grasp the company's competitiveness (SWOT analysis and propose the improvement and strategic planning of the company).
  • Preparation for the launch of future models and development of sales schemes: Conduct a feasibility study on sales volume and pricing based on analysis of target customer segments, competing models, specifications, and unique selling points (USPs).
  • Analyze the economic situation and prospects affecting the automobile industry in the short and long term.
  • Update regulations and environmental factors and reflect them in product strategies.
  • Project management for the introduction of a new model: Responsible for managing the processes involved in product introduction, monitoring cross-functional progress, and ensuring implementation.
  • Reporting sales performance and business situation to headquarters: Analyze market trends, competitors performance, and our own sales results to develop countermeasures and provide feedback to headquarters.
  • Cost analysis, profit and loss calculation, and price setting: Perform cost analysis reflecting import prices, local costs, and foreign exchange fluctuations. Calculate profit and loss based on pricing strategies including retail and wholesale pricing and margin structures, leading initiatives to improve profitability in the four-wheel business.
  • Planning of Special Edition Models: Plan special edition vehicles by incorporating market trends and customer demands to maintain the attractiveness and sales momentum of existing models. Modify interior, exterior, and features to enhance appeal and drive sales expansion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.

2. Job-specific Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Data analysis using BI tool
  • Strong project and timeline management skills

3. Communication Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus.

4. Problem-solving & Critical Thinking

  • Skilled in root cause analysis and applying logical, structured approaches to problem-solving

5. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a maintenance role.

6. Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively under high pressure.
  • Honest, hardworking, and highly responsible.
  • Eager to learn and adapt.
